AFTER SALES SERVICE FACILITIES
Tanink Ghana Ltd. will undertake after sales service of vehicles at their After Sales Service Base Workshop in Tema, and at Tanink Group’s workshop to be opened in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Ho by the end of next year. With an on going collaboration with GOIL, additional service outlets will be opened throughout the country by the middle of next year. Tanink Group already has a service centre in Tamale which is in operation and a collaboration GOIL/Tanink service point in Kumasi.
Service at the Base Workshop shall include routine maintenance and repairs at a reasonable cost to the Purchaser, labour-free charge for maintenance under warranty in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by manufacturer’s policy and also the provision of necessary genuine spare parts and accessories
BASE WORKSHOP
This ultra modern Workshop is located on the business premises of Tanink Group, Off Accra-Tema Motorway, Light Industrial Area, Community 12, Tema. It is equipped to undertake all repair and maintenance operations. A large spare parts store, with a large stock of all essential spare parts is in place for Workshop and cash customers.
Workshops comprise of:
- The quick-service workshop equipped with 8 lift-hoists to accommodates vehicles at a time. This tiled unit is built purposely for electronics diagnostics works, and for quick servicing.
- Smart-examiner Diagnostics machines are available.
- There is also workshop bay for light and heavy-duty vehicles (13m x 44m)
- In-door space for engine repairs and test runs.
- State-of-the-art spraying booth, and body-works machinery.
- Vast out-door space (within premises) for workshop-extended works and for vehicle testing.
- Vehicle washing bay.
Thus, the Workshop is fully equipped with tools (including special tools) for specific operations, hoisting machines, concrete ramps, diagnostic machines to test all minor and major works including engine and transmission rebuild, electrical components overhaul and repair, battery charging equipment, air conditioning, etc. Tanink Group (that is AUTO WORLD LIMITED and TANINK GHANA LIMITED) also undertake welding and panel beating, spraying jobs and upholstery manufacturing and repairs.
- Other Service Points
It is worth mentioning that Tanink has service agreement with service workshops in most of the districts in the country to service our brands using our parts. We have conducted in-house training for some of the technicians already and give refresher courses to keep them informed of modern trends.

Tanink has in place service vehicles for distribution of spare parts and emergency repair works and the speedy recovery of broken down vehicles and general services.

Large consignments of spare parts are currently in stock – value worth $1,400,000. Our acquired experience in after-sales support helps us in forecasting and stocking particular spares parts per period / offer of vehicles or motorbikes, to ensure maximum utilization.
TRAINING
Most of the Technicians of Tanink’s workshops have received training in Italy, South Africa and China depending on the Brand they are assigned to.
Tanink Ghana Ltd has facilities for classroom training of Technicians and users of vehicles. Local Managers and Engineers assisted by regular occasional visits by Service Technicians from Italy, South Africa and China are also employed. Medium of instruction is English using Audio-visual aids, Slide projectors, Charts and Manuals.
A compilation of service news across the globe, as well as modifications of improved methods of service manuals are made available on CDs or through electronic mail for the benefit of agents, end users and all at large.
Tanink gives technical assistance to users on the basic use and manipulation of all vehicles sold.
Our Technicians, Customer Care Officers and Parts Managers collaborate closely with user organizations and individuals to offer advice and assistance on matters pertaining to efficient utilization and maintenance of vehicles bought from us. Through e-mail and other means of communication, Tanink’s Technicians are ready to share literature, experiences on the use of vehicles, offer any advice necessary to ensure safe and efficient use of vehicles.
